DRY RED WINE
Recommended: Decant 1-2 hours prior to drinking.
A light-bodied and low tannin varietal red wine with vibrant color and supple mouthfeel, red fruit and herbaceous notes. Chambourcin is a French-American hyrbrid grape variety that is widely planted in East Coast vineyards. The variety is prized for its versatility in producing diverse wine styles and is cold-hardy in the vineyards. The variety is also a Teinturier, among those rare grape varieties with red flesh and juice due to anthocyanin pigments accumulating within the pulp of the grape berry itself, and not just in the skin like most red grape varieties. Fresh herbaceous aromas meld with flavors of black cherry, plum, black pepper, and tobacco in this fruit forward-style wine aged in stainless steel. Best served ever so slightly chilled.
