Singlehandedly the rarest wine blend we make. We can easily go years without blending this wine. Our Riesling is grown on a hillside near Lake Erie in PA. The grapes are super expensive and we always allocate most of the production to Catherine's Blend, a Vignoles, Chardonnay and Riesling blend. We'll make some dry and some sweet Riesling and normally not put in on the wine list. Perhaps twice, we have made Ease My Mind, a blend of Riesling and a Riesling offspring, Geisenheim.
Intensely tropical in nature, but with an intriguing spiciness that captivates the taste buds. Nice acids, fully balanced and naturally sweet
Turtle Run Winery is located in the southern part of the Indiana Uplands American Viticulture Area and is known for making expressive wines following the European traditions of barrel fermentations, barrel aging, no oak products added, long, extended skin contact for dry reds, so no tannin addition, arrested fermentation sweet wines so no sugar or juice added. Yes, real wine. And yes, our flavors vary from vintage to vintage. We've won lots of wine competitions with "best in class" wines...coast to coast.
