100% Chardonnay, containing 30% of the famous Wente Clone from the notable Aguirre Vineyard and 70% Dijon Clone from the Sblendorio Vineyard both clones grown in the Livermore Valley. This favorable wine was aged in neutral American oak barrels for approximately 8 months, while going through a malolactic fermentation. The result is an outstanding, “rich” chardonnay with hints of pineapple, citrus, and melon. This fine wine has characteristics of good acidity and a bit of honey on the finish.

The aroma is memorable. The winemakers paid special attention to the development of this wine that has resulted in an “old world” flavor characteristic profile.

It is a lovely now but will be even better in 3 to 5 years.
