Prairie Star is fermented in cold temperatures in our stainless steel tanks. The fermentation process produces a semi-dry, floral, exotic wine. With a full mouth and great complexity, you can find hints of peaches, spices, grapefruit and some grassy flavors in this wine as well. This particular vintage offers a bit more citrus than previous years, and although the sugar levels haven’t changed, the natural parameters of the fruit have allowed for that added crispness to show through. This balanced, crisp wine is pure Prairie Star. Enjoy it with grilled fish, fresh bruschetta, or light pasta dishes.
