Golden Spice Pears are small and almost too flavorful to eat fresh, with strong skin tannins. Hence they make a great wine! The pears are only 1-1.5 inches long and ripen to a luscious golden orange skins and snow-white flesh.
The French name means...."Golden Spice Pear!"
Great with stir-fry, baked chicken, pear salads or just sipping on the balcony or deck in early autumn! Our wine-educated daughter's favorite pear wine.
