A bold, smooth wine with a pleasant bitterness and medium levels of tannins and acidity. Notes of bright fruit, leather, dried herbs, and spices can be found on the nose. Its flavors are quite pronounced and reminiscent of strawberry, blueberry, licorice, sweet tobacco, and cinnamon. The mouthfeel is warm and soft, with great structure and persistence.
