2019 ‘98 Block Cabernet Sauvignon – The grapes from our Ninety-Eight Block Cab Sauv are grown in one of the premier terroirs in North America. These grape rows were planted in 1998 at the shallow edge of a glacial lake deluge silt layer that was deposited 13,000 years ago over fractured volcanic bedrock. This has proven to be the ideal soil condition for these hand-picked, hand-sorted grapes. This wine went through extra aging in French oak barrels, with minimal intervention and filtration.

The 100+ mile run of unique sandstone cliffs carved over the centuries by the Yellowstone River is the inspiration for our signature red blend. This Bordeaux-style blend is a careful combination of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. It is loaded with black fruit, spices, and minerality and finishes with layers of smoke and burnished leather.
