Bold aromatics of black plum and cracked pepper. As it opens, slight menthol turns to cocoa. Well structured, with medium pallet weight, black currant and tart cranberry flavors. Tannins arrive with gusto, but it's the acidity that keeps a juicy finish on the front of the pallet.
