Vines carefully grown, planted in one of Earth’s sweet spots. Never sprayed with pesticides since the day they were planted. Wine made through a slow fermentation during a long cold winter in venerable barrels of 20-plus years. Rested on the lees through a spring and summer to add texture and body to the pureness of fruit. Grown for centuries for Kings, Queens, Popes, Emperors, Dukes, and clever peasants. Called the Queen of Grapes, this is our version of a Chenin Blanc, grown by Washington’s King of Chenin Blanc. Sève, as a wine term, refers to wines that seem light and delicate but have truly resolute character. To understand, try this wine with a dish involving a spicy Thai-style peanut sauce. Enjoy it with fish or chicken, on a warm day with pasta salad (use some peanut sauce in the dish, recipe on our website), and with the people you love.
