Out East Hermitage represents an innovative collaboration between Cave de Tain, a leading producer of world-renowned Hermitage wines, and Out East, combining the tradition and expertise of ‘old world’ winemaking with a dynamic ‘new world’ vision.
This complex, rich and balanced syrah wine is a classic expression from the appellation considered the birthplace of the Syrah grape. An intense red color with purple hues, rich aromas of spice, licorice, coffee and black currant are complimented by smoky, vanilla notes on the palate. Well structured, with fine grained tannins, Out East Hermitage is ready to drink while also built to age. The vineyard’s perfect location on the left-bank of the Rhône is known for its exposure to the sun, the influence of the Mediterranean, and for being sheltered from the northerly winds. This harmony between the soils and the exposure provide balance, finesse and strength to this complex wine.
Only 1000 individually numbered bottles have been produced for this vintage.
