Cabernet Sauvignon, considered the King of the red varietals, also brings a vibrant color with firm tannin and excellent texture. Cabernet Franc enhances the blend with fruitier notes and adds plum and spice to make a full and rich blend which, as a wine maker, is something I relish in a red wine.
