Regent is a German hybrid grape that yields a small dark berry, is disease resistant and cold tolerant, perfect for Ohio weather! This dry red wine is intense, rich and full-bodied exhibiting smoky aromas and flavors of blackberries and black currant rounded out with smooth tannin structure. Aged on new French Oak it created a hearty food friendly wine that pairs well with steak, lamb, wild game and smoked meats in general. Also goes well with red sauces, sausages and strong cheeses.
