2019 Pinot Noir Santa Cruz - Saveria Vineyards - A hidden vineyard near the town of Aptos, a mere 4.5 miles from the Pacific makes the soil a deep Colluvial fan of sand & calcareous marine deposits with excellent drainage. Exchange of fog/sun ensures proper wine respiration & very even ripening. Maritime climate necessitates extended hang time. Aroma is simply divine of mulberry, violet liqueur and crushed seashell. Flavors of Italian plum, black tea and dried porcini which makes this wine so concentrated and ready to be enjoyed.
