This medium bodied wine spent a total of 19 months in 80% new French oak. Aromas of fresh raspberries, redcurrants, and cherries are interlaced with dried cranberries and herbaceous aromas of oregano, black currant leaves, and violets. This wine shows crisp red fruit on the palate with good acidity, followed by bramble, kirsch, toast, and smoked pepper. This wine has a long finish and firm structured tannins.
