A Brut Nature Rosé made in the Methode Champenoise. Salmon colored with a full mousse mouthfeel and elegant bubbles. A truly unique wine with Aromas of strawberries, orange zest and a subtle minerality leads to a palate that is bright and full of minerality, strawberries and hints of mango blended with a bit of flint and a lengthy, lingering finish.
A summertime red blend aged in neutral barrels with cherry wood and lenga, a patagonian wood that adds structure and length to the palate. Blend consists of: 42% Tempranillo, 29% Grenache, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Mourvèdre, 2% Sangiovese, 1% Carménère.
Our first vintage of 100% Tempranillo grown by Debbie and Ted, the proprietors and meticulous caretakers of the BriArs Vineyard in eastern Escondido, CA. The wine was aged for 14 months in new and 1 year old, elegantly toasted French Oak casks, then aged an additional two years prior to release. This is the first of what looks to be many delicious vintages created from the teamwork between Debbie and Ted & Hungry Hawk Vineyards.
