This is a familiar port style red wine made from 12-year-old Carménère grapes. It is a deep ruby with just a hint of creaminess from French oak aging. With a medium plus body, it is rich in red berry fruit characteristic such as raspberry, red plum and pomegranate and finishes with subtle notes of dark chocolate, espresso and luscious ripe pigs. The wine pairs well with creamy deserts or as an after-dinner cordial.
