- Carmenere is a difficult grape to grow and in hot regions yields are lower than other red varietals.
- This wine exemplifies a light to medium bodied Carmenere with earthy fruit forward notes of cherries and hints of cranberry and pomegranate.
- Soft finish with light tannins, a splash of hickory spice and a hint of tobacco
- It has a red crimson color and is nicely balanced with a low alcohol content.
- The flavor is smooth, earthy and ever so slightly smoky.
- Pairs well with lamb and pork; and spicy Spanish or Mexican foods are also great.
