The first off-dry wine created by Cove Mesa brings in warm scents of crème brulée and black walnuts. The light sweetness counterbalances the acidity to make it smooth and easy to drink. It’s a crowd favorite!
Winemaker Notes - Grapes were hand harvested from Flying Leap Vineyards in August 2022. Whole cluster pressed and cold settled. Fermented in stainless-steel tanks at low temperature for 3-4 weeks. Fermentation was stopped when off dry. Aged in stainless-steel tanks on lees for 3 months. Racked, filtered prior to bottling in June 2023.
