Utilizing 100% whole cluster fermentation, this wine is very complex. Spices such as green peppercorn and oregano give way to sweet, aged tobacco and hints of blue fruit. With a bold presence and smooth tannins, this wine pairs well with great friends and good conversation.

Utilizing 100% whole cluster fermentation, this wine is very complex. Spices such as green peppercorn and oregano give way to sweet, aged tobacco and hints of blue fruit. With a bold presence and smooth tannins, this wine pairs well with great friends and good conversation.

Winemaker Notes - The grapes were hand harvested from Deep Sky Vineyard in Willcox. The Syrah was whole cluster fermented in stainless-steel tanks with specially selected yeast. The partial Carbonic Maceration of whole cluster fermentation helps make the wine fruitier and soften tannins to allow earlier release. The grapes were pressed at dryness, then age 6 months in 100% neutral French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation was induced in barrel. Racked and filtered prior to bottling in August 2023.
