The Fly Rod Cellars Pale Morning Dun Malbec has aromas of red and blue berries, allspice, anise, black cherry, pepper, and graphite. These dark, spicy aromas merge with ­flavors of blackberry, plum, black currant, sage, bay leaf, black tea and Red Mountain earthiness in a lingering finish. The fruit was from Red Mountain's Hedges Vineyard and was biodynamically grown.
