This unique Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in stainless steel but finished in freshly emptied Anejo Tequila barrels for 4 months. Aromatics of lemongrass, melon, and summer peach give way to flavors of lemon zest and green apple with a hint of vanilla and a slight "boozy" finish. 100% Loudoun County grapes. Serve cold, slightly above refrigerator temperature of 45-50 to release aromatics. Though light and refreshing the wine shows enough body to pair well with richer foods.
Pairs well with Thai red curry mussels, grilled lobster with butter, spaghetti carbonara
