This estate grown wine is a blend of three Wisconsin grown grapes - Petite Pearl, Marquette and Frontenac. The name Mascoutin originates from an Algonquian Indian tribe that spent time along the Fox River near Berlin, WI. The former Milwaukee Road Railway, which ran along the edge of the winery property, has now become the Mascoutin Valley State Trail - a multi-use recreational trail. The grapes that make up this wine are in view of the trail.
