A rich, dark, full body French/American hybird without the hybird stigma. This wine is vinefera through and through. Fruit forward with flavors of black cherry and dark berries, followed by an incredibly full and balanced structure, punctuated with a smooth but firm tannin finish. Pair this wine with pasta, red meat, or just enjoy it by the glass.

Tucked away on a secluded property in rural Loudoun County, VA., Hiddencroft greets guests with an exceptional blend of fine wines, gracious hospitality and personable service.
Our red wines are typically barrel aged between 22 and 42 months. Experiments in extended oak aging have reached 7.5 years in the barrel producing wines that are silky smooth, rich and have a pleasing balance of oak and tannin. Our white and rose wines are complex and show the characteristics of our terroir such as the aromas and flavors of fruit, flowers and spice. Novelty wines such as blueberry and cherry and a variety of port-style wines are available as well.
