Reminiscent of the Mosel region in Germany, this Riesling is produced in a Spätlese style. It has just enough sweetness to enhance its ripe fruit flavors, but not so much that it is out of balance with its crisp acidity.
Silver Crest Cellars, located in the Grand River Valley, is a collaboration of local winegrowers with family vineyards dating back to the 1930's. We grow and make both old-world and new-world wine varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Dornfelder, Riesling, and Chardonnay, as well as local, historical varieties and blends.
