The 2018 Ficarra Cellars Cremisi Nero Carmenere elicits a wide array of aromas such as white pepper, smoked meats, grilled mushrooms, black berries, coffee, and venison. This exotic variety can be shared and enjoyed with grilled meats, roasted pork, tapas, or cured meats.
Notes
Different techniques were utilized to boost the natural elegance of this variety Extended cold and warm maceration, controlled temperature fermentation and delestage, helped to develop a robust body, wired with powdery tannins and long-lasting palate. Savory and red fruit aromas open the nose for peppery notes. The wine stretched its muscles for over 18 months in neutral French and American oak until finally was racked and prepared for bottling.
