Our 2021 Bottling of a 2020 favorite! 2020 is brutal in a lot of ways & I think we all never want to hear the word “unprecedented” again. During Quarantine we had a virtual red wine blending night and I was telling the story of the winery building. When we moved in and started cleaning it up we had it resided red (it’s also big) and it had stalls which we thought were for horses. A neighbor told us the building actually had Donkeys in it! So, one of our wine club members yelled out “You should make a Big Ass Red wine!” Big Ass Red was born and we got something nice out of 2020. The blend is roughly half Pinot Noir and roughly half a combination of the French Hybrids Leon Millot and Marechal Foch. 2020 Bottling. 111 cases produced.
