The first of our 2023 dry reds was bottled on 1/24/2024. This wine has, like all of our reds, has zero fining agent, no added tannins, no added coloring agents. When we pressed syrah back in the fall. we made two tanks out of one. The first tank, which held this wine, was pure free run through the press. The wine appears very clean even going through the press. We settled the wine over next several months and carefully pulled this wine from the very top of the tank, and thus it was bottled without filtration either. Added 5% frontenac-grenache 2021 blend to the wine before bottling...because we can. And it really made the wine pop!
