Delicious blush with great essences of delicious grapefruit, orange,lemon, grape and perhaps a sweet tart or two. A blend of 50% catawba and 50% concord. And that ratio changes from vintage to vintage due to the growing season. Totally yummy sweet wine. All the residual sugar is pure fructose, which provides a very clean, refreshing finish, is much lower in calories than when sugar or juice is added to back-sweeten wines and many type 2 diabetics can drink this wine without blood sugar spikes. Sweet wine with no lingering sugary, syrupy aftertaste.

Notes

All of our sweet wines are made via arrested fermentation, no sugar or juice is ever back-added to our wines. We control the fermentations and filter on the hour of the day. The catawba was filtered at 3:45 AM on Dec 17, 2019. Why? It was ready at that time. That, everyone, is quality control
