Aromella is a hybrid grape of traminette, which is a hybrid grape of gewurtztraminer. Aromella has awesome flavors and aromatics of lemon and lemongrass. This wine was aged in oak barrels for 42 months. Yes, 42. Not 4 or 2, but 42. In the barrel on July 20, 2020 and bottled February 7, 2024. This wine has the characteristic lemon and lemongrass notes, but the lime is ever, ever present, just comes at you. The oak is well integrated and offers some great intrigue. The finish is exceptionally long. Like all of our white wines, no fining agents used which is perhaps why they can age so long.
