Sweetgrass Hard Apple Cider starts with the most wonderful mix of apples from Maine; Stark, Wolfe River, Golden Russets, Northern Spy, Golden Delicious, Tolman Sweets, Macon, Spartan, Red Delicious, Empire and Baldwin. Sweetgrass Hard Apple Cider is dry, bottle conditioned (where the secondary fermentation is completed in the bottle like champagne), has an apple nose, champagne body, and a beer finish. It needs to be well chilled before opening or you may get more bubbles all over you than in your glass.
