Starrlight Mead opened in Pittsboro at the Chatham Mill in September of 2010. At that time, we only had three meads available: Traditional Mead Off-Dry, Traditional Mead Semi-Sweet, and Spiced Apple. If you were around then, you'll remember that we sold out of Spiced Apple by Thanksgiving (uh-oh!) and Becky put Ben on a rush order for more! The new batch finished up in December and sold over 100 bottles the first day back. We've created many more recipes since then, but these three will always hold a special place in our hearts!
