Our 2021 Sangiovese originates from handcrafted mountain gown fruit produced from our estate vineyard. Our volcanic soils produce intense fruit flavors with the essence of ripe strawberry, black cherry and spices. Small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot add to the complexity of this wine. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Elegant tannins provide a smooth and silky texture to the finish. Crisp acidity compliments a variety of foods.

Notes

The 2021 vintage show great promise with ripe fruit flavors and deep ruby color. The noise hints of berries and spice. There is a touch of oak and leather on the finish. The acidity of the wine pairs well with a variety of foods. The tannins provide good mouthfeel, and the wine should age well.
