I hesitate to say this is a gateway mead but if you are a white wine drinker this is the mead for you but it is a phenomenal mead also. Has wonderful aromas and flavors of Prairie Star grape blended with soft honey and all tied together by soft alcohol. This is just a very easy drinking mead. On the sweet end but it is so smooth you don't think of it as sweet. Reminiscent of a Muscato wine but with a honey background. Silver Medal winner - Mead Free or Die - 2016 - Pyment category
