About the Barrel Select Syrah: During the 2019 harvest, we set aside our favorite barrel of Defiance Syrah and bottled it separately. This wine spent its life in 100% new French oak and has been resting in bottle since Spring of 2021. After tasting this wine periodically over the past couple years, we feel now is the perfect time for release. The flavors have all come together, the structure is silky smooth from extended bottle aging, and now we would love for you to try this special release! We hope you enjoy.
