This mead is made with the Damiana herb, which has a fascinating flavor, full of spice and perfume. Off-dry in sweetness level this mead has lots of character and has proven to be quite popular at our tastings. Damiana is used to make a liqueur in Mexico, and Damian is reputed to be an aphrodisiac. It's botanical name was originally Turnera aphrodisiaca, and it always seems to be sold out at the herb shop!
