Mead made with wildflower honey and cabernet sauvignon grape juice, aged on oak
They come from different worlds they said, one made from grapes, the other from honey. No one believed this couple was ever meant to be. Sometimes though, all it takes is just one kiss (or sip) to truly experience a sweet affair! This mead is a blend of wildflower honey and cabernet sauvignon grape juice which is then briefly aged on oak.
Pours dark ruby red, low semi-sweet with a great balance of honey and grape wine character. This mead is also aged briefly on oak which imparts an additional element to the taste as well as adds a bit of tannin to soften the sweetness from the honey.
Pairs well with almost any cheese, charcuterie, red meats and chocolates.
Enjoy at room temperature
