10 months ago we decided to steal 50 gallons of our traditional mead made with local western buckwheat blossom honey and throw it in a freshly dumped bourbon barrel. We figured mead that already tasted like delicious waffle cone and vanilla wouldn't mind resting in a bourbony-oaky-caramely-woody goodness. Turns out it's a match made in heaven!
