The 2017 vintage of “Liquid Midnight” is comprised entirely of Petite Sirah from both the LDV Vineyard’s Building Block and Roadblock. LDV terroir brings out the most striking features of the Petite Sirah grape. The wine was not fined or filtered and was aged for 60 months in 100% new American oak barrels. Notes

Made from 100% Petite Sirah grapes which is rare and will only occur when the LDV Winery vintage produces grapes that will showcase well exclusively. The wine expresses aromas of cherry, tobacco, and black licorice with hints of violet. This ultra, full-bodied wine with dark cherry flavors with lingering spiced blueberry pie finish and integrated tannins. It explodes with a rainbow of flavors and sensations. It pairs well with rich proteins like ribeye steaks, braised short ribs, and dark chocolate or bold cheeses.
