This is a very unique fruit wine made from local Nelson County apples and jalapeño peppers. The flavor of the apples is first and foremost when it hits your tongue with a slow flavorful jalapeño heat that creeps in, without being too spicy. It is literally just right! We do not have to dare you to taste it and it will win you over when you do. It is the perfect accompaniment to cheese and crackers, roast pork or an Alfredo pasta. Where does the name come from?
