The vidal blanc grape is a French Hybrid variety developed in the 1930s by French wine grape breeder Jean Louis Vidal who crossed Trebbiano with another Hybrid variety. Vidal Blanc thrives in the Eastern U.S. where it is used to produce both dry and sweet wines. This selection was vinified in a dry style and shows nuances of orange and straw on the nose with very lovely flavors of honeydew melon and soft grapefruit on your palate followed by an ample finish that leave those tempting flavors to tantalize down your throat. Great by itself or with chicken and fish cuisine.
