This Cabernet Franc was sourced from Kiona Vineyards in Red Mountain. The nose is full of deep dark berries, with a hint of sour cherry. On the palate this wine is medium bodied, with lots of blackberry and cassis. The acids are well balanced and the tannins are impressive on the finish, lingering for a lengthy time. This wine shows more characteristics of Cabernet, rather than the traditional floral notes of Franc. Drink now through 2025.
