This wine is a blend of 46% Monastrell, 31% Garnacha and 23% Syrah. It was aged in a mix of concrete and neutral French oak puncheons. The Monastrell brings structure to the wine, the Garnacha adds an element of elegance, and the Syrah gives additional backbone to the blend. This wine has dynamic aromatics of blackberry and raspberry, plums, herbal notes, dark cocoa, and earth. The palate is full and gives way to flavors of black fruits, olive, and subtle orange peel. The tannins on this wine are very smooth and polished and the finish doesn't want to end.
