Lagrein is a northern Italian varietal originating from the Alto Adige region. Now that it has been in bottle for ~1 year the wine has integrated and is really quite exciting. Tasting Notes This wine is really unique: super dark color with loads of tannin and acid. It has aromas and flavors of black berries and dark cherries. Food Pairings This is a great food wine and pairs nicely with Italian food.
