Maréchal Foch is an inter-specific hybrid grape variety that ripens early producing wines with strong acidity, aromas of black fruits and, in some cases, toasted wheat, mocha, fresh coffee, bitter chocolate, vanilla bean, and musk. Maréchal Foch is often served with red meats, tomato based sauces, mild cheese and chocolate.
