In 1981, the first vines were planted at Bitner Vineyards on a sunny, south-facing slope ideally suited for Chardonnay grapes. The devastating winter of 2017 destroyed all but six rows of these old vines. Our 2019 vintage is the last Chardonnay produced exclusively from this block.
This steely chardonnay offers lovely aromas of green apple and melon—featuring flavor profiles of pear and honeysuckle with a touch of citrus—leading to a crisp, beautifully balanced finish.
