Allegro Winery located in Brogue, Pennsylvania is York County's largest local winery. The winery and vineyard was founded in 1980 by two musician brothers, John and Tim Crouch. In 2001, winemaker Carl Helrich and his family became the principals producing 4200 gallons in the first year to more than 27,000 gallons in currently.
Allegro grows primarily Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot on a 12-acre vineyard site established in 1973. Today, the winery produces more than 3 dozen wines ranging from dry to sweet varieties.
You won't find us hosting festivals or big concerts.
We don't have breath-taking views or trophies.
