In memory of Jake, our beloved family pet of 9 years. While out checking grain fields one spring afternoon George and Frank Hoff happened across a mother turkey crossing the road with her chicks. George abruptly said let's get one, and Frank pulled over. After catching it they wondered what to do next. They convinced Uncle Tom and Aunt Marcie it would be a great addition to their collection of chickens and other foul. Tom decided to name him Jake, and Marcie nurtured him until he was ready for life outdoors. Jake brought joy to all who met him, and especially loved to strut for the ladies. Redneck Rosé is a semi-sweet wine that pairs well with BB-Q, spicy dishes, and stawberry desserts.
