Although not widely known, this varietal originated in Burgundy, France and is a mutation of Pinot Noir. It is commonly referred to as Weissburgunder and Pinot Bianco in parts of Europe. This pale yellow wine offers peach and apple notes with a nice floral aroma. It’s soft and delicate on the palate with medium acidity and a notably fruity finish.
