An unusual season led to an unusual wine. A late summer drought caused the flavors of our Frontenac Gris grapes to concentrate. Because of this bigger flavor, we made it in a bigger style, extracting flavor & color from the skins of what would normally have been a white wine.
Made in the style of a Borolo. Aromas of fruity tangerine, strawberry and rich truffle followed by flavors of overripe strawberry. Fruity with moderate acidity and soft tannins.
