2016 Lagrein Dolcetto The Lagrein Dolcetto blend is from the first yield from the Lagrein and Dolcetto blocks from our estate vineyard. The wine is a blend of 65% Dolcetto and 35% Lagrein. The first fruit yielded enough to fill two barrels of wine where the wine aged for 16 months prior to bottling. On of the two French oak barrels was new which contributed to the wine's spicy flavors and aromas. Tasting Notes Earthy aromas with spices (cinnamon, clove) with hints of tobacco. One the palate this wine has notes of plum, red raspberry, with a backbone of acidity.
